Feature Film Auteurs, Brave Man Media®, Conclusively Blurs The Barriers Separating Traditional Commercials and New Digital Media Content

The studio space includes a full complement of high definition and 2K video cameras, an industrial strength lighting package, and four state of the art editing bays to service their brand driven clients. “New business necessitated new digs”, confirmed Damian Fitzsimmons and Ian LaQua, co-partners in Brave Man Media and their affiliate companies.    

Creative Director and Owner, Damian Fitzsimmons, formally of Blue Hour Films is the ‘visionary’. Damian cuts a lean and boyish figure in ‘slaps’ cruised in from the UK a decade ago having concluded a successful run as a writer for the BBC. He hails from Liverpool and has adopted some of that seat-of-the pants creative genius as evidenced by fellow Liverpudlians; the late John Lennon and Paul McCartney. 

Producer and Partner, Ian LaQua oversees, the company’s long and short term business direction, stating “first and foremost we are filmmakers”.  Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration, but his passion has always been in filmmaking evidenced by over a decade of producing visually arresting content.  

Blending to perfection a variety of stylistic disciplines and mediums Brave Man Media has been retained by clients as diverse as Absolut Vodka to Belkin Electronics and World Travel Holdings.  The company’s stylistic and fiscal growth is keeping pace with the expanding scope of the duo’s collaborative vision.   

When asked why the move to the ‘provinces’, Damian replied “South Florida provides us with quantifiable advantages. We are unfettered by the distractions and the huge overheads one encounters in the ‘mega metros’. We have literally and figuratively stepped outside the ‘big box’. With the surrounding palms and seaside we breathe easier in a more forgiving environment,” opines Damian.   

“With the Internet, our primary medium in aggregating our client’s commercial message, the digital sweep is complete. Supplanting traditional delivery systems-such as television and theaters; the internet is the dominant platform for delivering our clients commercial message and the original entertainment we produce”.
