Family Portrait of the US President Commissioned By a Member of the Obama Family

August 10th, 2016 – Berlin, Germany – Accomplished German artist Michael Dyne Mieth’s fine portrait work has caught the attention of the Obama family.

Today, Michael Dyne Mieth, an internationally acclaimed award winning artist from Berlin, Germany, has confirmed that his portraits of the President of the United States, Barack Obama, and his family have been specially commissioned by Saskia Hildebrandt, Management for the President’s sister, Dr. Auma Obama, who has personally handed the paintings to the President Barack Obama.

The multi-disciplinary artist is no stranger to high-profile commissions. Much of Michael’s success can be credited to his versatile approach to art, which is a departure from the relatively safe confines of academic art.
