**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** Los Angeles, CA (June 22, 2016) – “WHO KILLED NELSON NUTMEG,” a favorite on the family & kids-themed festivals circuit will debut June 24 on premium VOD and digital platforms, courtesy of TriCoast Entertainment.
On their annual summer camp holiday, four misfit kids suspect that the camp’s resident mascot has been….murdered! Unfortunately nobody believes them, so an investigation is launched where mayhem, mystery and hilarity ensue.
Billie (Loretta Walsh), The Colonel (Hattie Gotobed), Woody (James Grogan) and Shiv (JJ Brown), go on their annual summer holiday to Nelson’s Retreat, a family camp situated in the U.K. on Dorset’s Jurassic coast. But Billie and the gang don’t really fit in with the other kids, and the camp is geared for younger children, so it’s just not their ‘thing’ anymore. The only highlight is the camp’s squirrel mascot, the hyperactive and unpredictable Nelson Nutmeg. When Billie witnesses Nelson Nutmeg getting pushed off the cliff by a mysterious assailant, she rallies The Colonel, Woody and Shiv to investigate. They immediately suspect Diane (Bonnie Wright, Ginny Weasley of Harry Potter fame), the camp’s prickly new manager, and they try to build their case. However, the kids quickly get in over their heads, and soon realize they’re going to have to use all their childlike savvy if they’re going to solve this crime.
