In 1986, he founded Kasraeian Urology in Jacksonville, Florida where he continues to serve his community alongside his son, Ali Kasraeian, MD, FACS, a fellowship trained minimally invasive, robotic and ablative urological surgeon. Together, this father-and-son team work to make sure that they treat their patients as they would want someone in their own family treated—with care, dignity, attention and respect, providing comprehensive urological care with the most advanced surgical technology, operated with the highest level of expertise.
Dr. Ahmad Kasraeian is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his Medical Degree at the Pahlavi University School of Medicine in Shiraz, Iran. Dr. Kasraeian then completed his internship and residency in general surgery and urology at the Jacksonville Health Educational Program at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida in 1978. He is a member of the Florida Urological Society and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Kasraeian is a dedicated and passionate physician who embodies the epitome of the patient advocate. He is well respected by his colleagues and loved by his patients and staff. He is a loving father to two sons, Ali and Sina, an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine; and a devoted husband to a world renowned breast pathologist, Dr. Shahla Masood.
