Dr. Koulova is an oncologist in Goshen, NY with over 12 years of experience specializing in oncology and hematology. Dr. Koulova graduated Summa Cum Laude from Medical Academy in Sofia Bulgaria, earning her Medical Degree and PhD with her PhD thesis in Immunohematology. Dr. Koulova then completed a residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, graduating from Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center/Westchester Medical Center, and with sub-specialty training in MSKCC and Mount Sinai Medical Centers in New York, NY.
Currently, Dr. Koulova is a practicing Medical Oncologist and Hematologist in Westchester Medical Center Health Network, with offices located in Goshen, NY. She was named one of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in these specialties. In addition, she is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a professional member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her expertise and clinical interest is in Breast, Prostate, Lymphoma, Lung, Ovarian, and other solid Tumor malignancies. She applies the latest biological treatments and immunotherapies in that field. Furthermore, she specializes in benign hematology and coagulation.
Dr. Koulova attributes her success to research, the challenges of the field, and her family background. When not assisting patients, she enjoys skiing, bicycling, going to the opera, and spending time with friends and family.
