Dr. Khan has been in practice for over 16 years and is currently serving patients as an Interventional Cardiologist at Desert Cardiovascular Consultants in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Khan completed his medical training and his residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati, in 1993 .He then went on to complete his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Khan received triple board certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Khan also maintains a professional membership with the Clark County Medical Society of Nevada. In addition, he is a recipient of the Best Teacher Award in 1995 from the University of Cincinnati and a recipient of the Man of the Year Award in 2007 from Catholic Charities of Nevada for his work with their patients. Dr. Khan has also been named the Top Cardiologist for 2016 in Las Vegas. Dr. Khan is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
Dr. Khan has previously offered services at the Saint Therese Center, a center that reaches out to those touched by HIV/AIDS to provide spiritual, physical/emotional support, and social services in the spirit of love and compassion. Dr. Khan credits his success to hard work, dedication, persistence, and honesty. He is involved in philanthropy for various organizations, both national and international. Dr. Khan takes an active interest in politics at the national level.
