Board certified plastic surgeon and founder of El Paso Cosmetic Surgery Dr. Ozan Sozer was an honored guest at the 23rd Biannual International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) in Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Sozer currently serves as a member of the ISAPS Board of Directors. This International Congress is dedicated to discussing, exploring, and analyzing popular plastic surgery procedures with esteemed professionals from around the world.
Dr. Sozer was one of two doctors from the United States to be part of the Scientific Program Committee, which was in charge of organizing the International Congress.
“It was an honor to be a part of such an esteemed crowd,” Dr. Sozer says. “My presentations dealt with many popular issues that the plastic surgery world is facing today.”
During the 23rd Biannual Congress, Dr. Sozer gave four presentations to plastic surgeons from around the world. These presentations included: The Essentials of Body Contouring Surgery, Circumferential Lipoabdominoplasty, and Split Gluteal Muscle Flap for Autoprothesis Buttock Augmentation. He was also a special member of the presentation on Complications of Buttock Fat Injections/Personal Approach to Buttock Augmentation with Fat Grafting.
“As more patients become interested in body contouring surgery and buttock augmentation, it’s more important than ever for plastic surgeons to learn how to deliver what patients want,” he adds.
During the Congress, Dr. Sozer also served as moderator during two presentations: Session 15: Abdominoplasty Body Contouring I and Session 27: Abdominoplasty Body Contouring IV. Additionally, he was appoint as the new Co-Chairmen of the Educational Council for the next two years.
