ERICIIAIR PRESENTING DINNER TO BENEFIT WOUNDED WARRIORS AND FRIENDS OF SLU LIVER CENTER

Dinner with a Surprise Special Guest or two.

Kirkwood, MO – December 25, 2017 – In April 2018 we’ll be hosting a dinner to benefit Wounded Warriors and the SLU Liver Center.

“The difference we make together outweighs the actions we take on our own.” – Eric Yehle, Owner – EricIIAir

With the proceeds we collect from sponsors for this event, we’ll donate 20% directly to each organization.  This dinner will become an annual event to benefit both organizations.

We would like to partner with 20 companies to promote a national and local message of making change through positive events.

The Opportunity

When the Kansas City Chiefs asked me to buy the suite I had not had time to have built up my network of potential businesses, as I wanted to establish my audience first, so I passed.  A week or two went by and I received a text from a sales executive in Kansas City asking if I could fly Andy Reid, who is the Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, to Orange County for the Chiefs bye week in November.  It took about an hour to prepare the cost for the trip and give them a quote, which led to a counter offer of hosting a dinner with Andy Reid to coincide with the 2018 NFL Draft, along with a payment of approximately half the cost of the flight.  The opportunity was more than I could pass up, so I agreed to the conditions and now have access to a suite at Arrowhead Stadium in 2018 along with a dinner for Andy Reid.

The Dinner

April 2018 (around the 26th-28th) there will be a dinner sponsored by 40 different companies with Andy Reid and possibly two other speakers, which will also be the focus of a nationwide media campaign of traditional media, social media and digital media that will blend traditional and social along with print marketing.  The possibility to connect with companies both large, medium and small will be paramount. The dinner will be a way for people to connect with Andy Reid as well as with the sponsors themselves.  This event will accommodate 150 people, last for 2 two hours, and will be held in Kansas City, MO.

Why Companies Participate

Every company is competing for attention and if you want to make your client, customer or potential customer connect with your company on an experiential level you need to be part of this event.  If you were to spend $40k on an ad campaign, you wouldn’t get 20 million views associated with your brand across traditional, print, digital and social media.  Here are some statistics from the experiential marketing world:

  • Seventy-four percent of consumers have a better opinion about a brand after an in-person event.
  • The majority (80%) of marketers believe live events are critical to their company’s success.
  • The majority of overperforming businesses (91%) place a greater emphasis on live events as a marketing channel than underperforming businesses or businesses that are performing as expected.

The ability to not only connect with the consumer, but a potential client or major customer is extremely important, and if you can connect with several in the same event the economies of scale become attractive.  This event will also have a dedicated video channel on Facebook along with having it recast over Facebook and LinkedIn and will be available to post to your corporate Facebook page/Website/Instagram/etc.
