Echevarria Travel was started in October 2008 by owner, Cheryl Echevarria, to service all clients but especially those who are legally blind. Cheryl had lost her vision in 2001 and is a 12-year post kidney transplant survivor. Few travel agencies focus on the disabled community, but she feels it is important to service everyone traveling independently, abled or disabled, and taps into this market to help educate others. We all should be treated with respect and dignity, especially when traveling the world.
