Palmdale, California, USA – July 18th, 2017 –
EAGems (Edward Allen Gems), is an internet based business, specializing in mostly gems and minerals. Their website is filled with varieties of rough, uncut stones, like agates and jaspers, as well as specimens and polished pieces for jewelry creations and display.
The website also includes a category for ‘gadgets’ such as their digital caliper they sell through Amazon. The caliper has garnered much praise from their customers, with 5-Star ratings being the vast majority of their 400-plus reviews, among the highest rating percentage in their category.
Though just a small family business, since the release of their caliper about two years ago, their impact has been far reaching. According to one of the company owners, Rhonda Hedgecock, customer comments coming from reviews and personal communications indicate they have an extensive customer base. She said, “Purchasers of our caliper include people not only in the jewelry and lapidary fields, similar to our main line of products but also individuals from the woodworking, automotive, airline mechanics industry, people who work with 3D printers, and other hobbyists to name a few. And we’ve even heard from some individuals who take measurements on hummingbirds and tree rings with our calipers!”
The company is expecting to have an even broader effect soon. They announced that two new ‘gems’ are currently in the manufacturing process and are scheduled to arrive at Amazon’s warehouses within the next few weeks. “We’re planning a big release once they are in stock,” according to Rhonda.
While not letting on what the new products are, she indicated one is in the category of tools, again helpful to various fields of activity, and the other can get used by many of those same end-users, but even broader than that.
EAGems is a California-based company in the business of selling rocks, gems, and minerals, as well as other types of ‘gems’ such as their digital caliper. Their online presence was established officially with the creation of their website in 2006.
