In the hit stage play, Tangie is a married woman living the life of a single mother because her superstar husband is always on the road. His faithfulness is called into question when his teenage daughter witnesses the unimaginable. Tangie, a relatively private woman, is forced to show how she is really living when her mother-in-law invites the entire family over unexpectedly for a huge announcement. REALITY Sets in at the ELLIS household and the family has to come to terms with the hand that they have been dealt.
MEET THE PRODUCER
Virginia native Deedria Chauntee is an award winning Master Cosmetologist and the founder of CEI Hair School, a beauty and barbering institute. With over 25 years of experience, Deedria, tirelessly works to ensure the success of her students, staff, and employees.
Deedria earned her cosmetology degree at Flair Beauty Institute in Petersburg VA. Shortly thereafter, she opened her first salon & a string of successful beauty businesses in the area. On a quest for divine purpose in 2007, Deedria relocated to Snellville GA where she launched Special FX Salon. During this venture she realized her life’s calling is to mentor & empower.
For over a decade, Deedria Chauntee has been a licensed educator. In 2009, she opened Cutting Edge Institute with over 40 eager students in attendance. Now, Deedria has opened her massive 10,000 sq. ft. facility, CEI Hair School which currently operates in Downtown Atlanta. As a result of these accomplishments, CEI will soon have thriving locations in Alabama & South Carolina. Deedria Chauntee uses events such as this to offset the cost of tuition for her students. She currently hosts her weekly radio talk show Deedria firmly believes in developing cutting edge trends and techniques to stimulate the beauty industry. Most recently, Deedria’s establishments have been contracted for major motion pictures such as The Fast and the Furious and Spiderman! Deedria Chauntee resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
