The DFY RFID Minimalist Wallets project was in need of funding to cover the manufacturing and various other expenses, a crowdfunding campaign had been launched on KickStarter with a funding goal of at least $3,000 which has been successfully funded, as the product continues to draw the attention of the online crowd and secure more than triple the amount of the funding goal.
The soon to be launched wallet has an innovative take on wallet storage space that will revolutionize bi-fold wallets. The team at DFY wallets behind design has focused on developing a slim bi-fold wallet that is visually stunning yet effective in performance.
In an update by DFY wallets, the company spokespersons said: “First of all we would like thank our backers, who have made DFY wallet a step closer to reality. Dfy wallets are here to challenge the status quo with our ‘no frills’, ‘back to basics’ policy. Our products were designed with great care and attention to details. We want to bring you affordable, yet stylish goods.”
The features of DFY wallet include:
• Manufactured out of micro-fiber leather of the finest grade which is more durable than real leather and synthetic PU leather. The material is also recyclable.
• 3 card slots.
• ID card window and separate slot for cash
• Space to keep coins
• Back quick access slot which is great for keeping one card and some quick cash
• RFID Protection exists as a fabric that lines the entire interior of the wallet, protecting personal information.
The wallet has been designed in 3 styles color choices: Black, blue and brown. Its streamlined and minimalistic design makes it perfect for both men and women, who dislike bulky wallets.
A variety of different rewards and perks were also being offered to prize the generosity of those who support the campaign and the project through their monetary contributions the rewards include DFY wallets that can only be bought through the campaign for now. The company hopes to counter and challenges by developing relationships which enables them to work closely, and efficiently to ensure the supply chain flows smoothly.
