Sure Grip Shaving Razor LLC has a new innovative design of shaving razor which the team believes will make shaving personal, easy, and enjoyable. Through a revollutionary redesign of the conventional shaving razor Sure Grip Shaving Razors will make it easier for people with disabilites to shave without straining and streching hard to reach areas of the face and body. The Sure Grip Shaving Razors project in currently in need of support and funds to cover the tooling, manufacturing and various other expenses, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched on KickStarter with a funding goal of at least $25,000 to be raised before Thu, Nov 17 2016.
The Sure Grip Shaving Razors will have two distinct components: the two-finger retainer which has been developed to prevent razor drops due to slippery handles and/or physical incapability, and the two rotate-and-lock shaving heads which make it easier to reach hard to reach places and eliminates the need to stretch necks, legs and arms.
The developer of the Sure Grip Shaving Razor, James Philips had difficulty in holding conventional shaving handles and in stretching his neck and arms due to wo shoulder joint replacements and has nerve damage in his arm. The unique design was a result of his effort to make shaving easier and more personalized for people like him. What started as James’s experiment has now evolved in to a product that many people could be able to benefit from. The designing, engineering, the development of the prototype and its testing has all been completed.
The two component of the device have been developed to be easy to install and requires a few simple step to work. The razors will be availble in 4 different colors to suit different tastes and different sizes. The ongoing Kickstarter with an $25,000 funding goal has seen some progress since its launch but it has a long way to before reaching its funding goal. The funds raised through the current crowdfunding campaign will be allocated to various aspects necessary for the completion of the product for customer use. A majority of the funding will be assigned to manufacturing of the device; manufacturing and labor costs are going to be the second largest expenditure according to the company’s expense projections and the rest will be spent on the Kickstarter fees and transactions, packaging and shipping costs.
A variety of different rewards and perks are also being offered to prize the generosity of those who support the campaign and the project through their monetary. James and his team is ready to take on any challenges that might occur, they hope to counter most challenges by developing relationships which enables them to work closely, and efficiently to ensure the supply chain flows smoothly.
