The creator of MuMu Instant Messenger, the first app designed for writers and role players, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the development and marketing of the program.
MuMu Instant Messenger offers a single location for multiple personas, identities, avatars or characters in one account, as well as the ability to switch between each one at will. Users can make any or all of their “muses” public or keep certain ones private to share with selected viewers. The app allows users to use the Idea Box and Plot List, and switch between In-Character and Out-of-Character interactions.
The app also includes a “Shout” button to get the immediate attention of partners; a “Memories” box to save favorite threads; a “Music” option to add songs to chats; a “Plot List,” which allows users to save and share their plots; “River,” an easy way to track partners of interest; and “Drabble,” a feature that allows writers to quickly jot down ideas or create short stories to give more depth and life to their characters and keep them private or share them, according to their preferences. With an easy-to-use interface, the latest options such as Spelling and Grammar Check, and an easy way to connect with like-minded story creators, MuMu Instant Messenger promises to become a standard for interactive apps.
