CrazySoft Ltd., an independent development company that has been in operation since 2003 and has developed more than 30 games and apps for more than 20 different platforms and operating systems, is redesigning and remastering the classic video game Zeus Quest. Now, the company has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for this development project.
The redevelopment will include FHD fresh vector cartoons, 60 FPS fully animated characters and new music and soundtracks. The popular plot and dialogs will remain the same. The remake will be accomplished using the game engine Unity3D. The remastered version of Zeus Quest will feature full HD graphics as opposed to the low-resolution old version. The new version will also feature quality vector art as opposed to the lack of animation in the original and will feature spoken dialogue in English and translations to a number of languages.
The remastered game will be released for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Windows Store, Blackberry 10 and Online, with more platform-specific versions to be released in the future. The product will support English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Greek languages. Users will be able to play using both a mouse and a touchscreen input format, and will operate on many tablets, phones and laptops as well as desktop computers.
As seen at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/zeus-quest-remastered-remaking-an-adventure-game, the IndieGoGo campaign offers pledge levels from $5 to $1,000 and perks ranging from wallpapers to the donor’s name in the credits. The money donated through the IndieGoGo campaign will be used to pay for quality animation and graphics creation and remastering as well as translations, music and other aspects of production.
