He has released six albums that have earned Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than 10 million copies in the United States. In November, he released his latest album, Man Against Machine, which topped the American country charts and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 charts.
The Smoothie King Center opened originally in 1999 and has been home of the New Orleans Pelicans off the National Basketball Association since 2002 when they were still known as the Hornets. The facility is also home of the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League and the NCAA basketball team from Tulane University. For concerts, the Smoothie King Arena is advertised to hold close to 18,000 fans and will need every seat possible when Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood perform here. In addition to hosting a plethora of A-list concert events, this venue has been home to many other special sporting events including professional wrestling and the Professional Bull Riders events.
