Charity Butterflies, a newly founded charity organization has unveiled its Indiegogo campaign in a bid to raise money for its first project, a child care centre in Serbia.
The organization has come into being with the idea of bringing smiles to children’s faces and with the belief that children irrespective of their disadvantages have the right to best education. With that aim in mind Charity Butterflies plans to open the centre for handicapped kids in a small town, Kikinda in Serbia.
The child care centre will not only be the place where they get education but can visit and have fun as well. The town has donated the land where the centre will be built on but there is a long way to go to make things comfortable and offer this safe learning environment for around 450-500 handicapped children in the town.
Charity Butterflies has tried to do everything possible to ensure that the project is a success. But it needs monetary help the centre will cost $275,000 and will take about six months to complete. A further $75,000 will be needed to take care of the furnishing, playground and educational equipment.
The centre will look after the learning needs of children of all ages. It will have a kitchen, a library, a garden and a play area. The centre will also aim to provide support to the parents. It will thus be a centre with comprehensive services for these children and their needs. And by donating whatever amount one can through the Indiegogo campaign, people can be a part of this thoughtful project.
