CAROLINA FILM FESTIVAL WELCOMES ENTRIES FOR FORTHCOMING FILM FESTIVAL.

May 30th, 2018 – Matthews, NC – Everyone loves the colour and transformation that festivals bring with them, especially film festivals. The Carolina Film Festival (CFF) is pleased to announce that the institution’s forthcoming Festival which will take place by 3:00pm on October 13th 2018 at the Hance auditorium, in Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte NC, is open for entries.

CFF is an institution which provides scaffold for talented filmmakers to showcase their works and be celebrated for it. Entries into the Carolina Film Festival will be made via FilmFreeway.com (the world’s best online submission platform). The event which will be hosted by actress Hope Jordan, has the following categories in which entries are open to —  Best Short, Best Trailer, Best Drone, Best Music Video, Most Creative and Best Director.

During the event, there will be special guest appearances from the film industry in the Carolina Film Festival’s Q&A panel.  Stars like Joslyn Hall (an actress from FX’s critically acclaimed show “Atlanta”), and Marcus Small (film director who worked on projects for MTV and Grammy artist such as T-Pain, and Flo-Rida) will be present. The latter, a talented fellow who has had a hand in the production of numerous reality shows for major networks including Bravo, MTV, CMT and more. The production of the Lifetime network show, “Bringing up ballers” is credited to Marcus Small. One more guest primed to be present on the day is Eric Small (a film producer whose work has been screened on Netflix, BET & TVOne).

The CFF will also be giving out a humanitarian award to Tonya Rivens, non-profit owner and radio and television news personality. There will also be musical performances by Grammy Award Nominee — Arnetta Murril-Crooms and Rhythm of Gospel Award Nominee —Alfred Clemonts.
