Broadview Homes recently announced that they would like to help the Animal Rescue Foundation find new homes for their recused dogs and cats. The Calgary new home builder will be hosting an event on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM where the public can meet pets that are in need of a good home. The Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta will be available to answer questions about adoption, share stories about individual animals and provide helpful pet care information. The event will be held at the duplex show homes in the Evanston community located at 124 & 128 Evansglen Close NW.
According to Broadview Vice President Peter-John Woolf, “Our focus is on helping people find their dream home but this time we wanted to open up our showhome to help the rescued cats and dogs at the Animal Rescue Foundation find new homes.”
Broadview has coordinated with the Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta to bring cats and dogs into the show home so visitors will be able to interact with the animals and visit with them in a comfortable setting. The show home will also be available to visitors who want to tour the show home. At the end of the day Broadview Homes will present the Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta with a check in recognition of the work they do to help animals in need.
The Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta was founded in 1995 and is a volunteer-based organization with the mission to recuse stray and unwanted cats and dogs and find them loving, permanent homes. The organization focuses its efforts on recusing unwanted animals primarily from rural areas where the need is greatest, and often overlooked.
