Renowned Beverly Hills Cosmetic Dentist, Dr Rodney Raanan attained his Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Anthropology at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) (2003-2007). He went on to pursue a career in dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry (2009-2013). After dental school, he went ahead to Harvard School of Dental Medicine (2013-2016) to complete an advanced specialty degree in Prosthodontics and to earn his Masters of Medical Sciences (MM SC) in Oral Biology. After graduating from Harvard, he joined UCLA School of Dentistry as a part-time faculty.
Dr Rodney Raanan was the President of Wireless World LLC (2002-2009). A company which provides two-way radiotelephone communication services such as cellular telephone services. He was Professor’s assistant for Dwight Read Ph.D. and Dario Nardi Ph.D. in UCLA (2007-2008). He went on to USC School of Dentistry as a Teaching Assistant (August 2009-May 2013), taking courses such as Morphology, Occlusion, Amalgam, and Bonded Restorations. Dr Raanan is currently a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics.
Speaking about what drew him into the dental profession and how he has managed to rise so high in the profession, Dr Rodney had this to say. “Indeed, the strongest single factor that draws me to the dental profession, and that distinguishes me from others, is the enjoyment I take from working with people. At the same time, I have a natural ability to develop and master the technical skills required by the profession.
