Barry Ratcliffe, Liam Neeson have cameos in Ted 2

Santa Claus is real. But I was such a fan of the first film, I just assumed there was an actual Ted, or maybe just a small child stuffed in a costume.
Veteran actor Barry Ratcliffe joins the cast of Seth MacFarlane’s teddy bear comedy, “Ted 2”.

Hollywood, CA – “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane announced via Twitter that A-list superstar Liam Neeson would be joining the cast of his latest film, his foul-mouthed teddy bear sequel “Ted 2” alongside such other names as Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfriend, and Morgan Freeman.

Barry Ratcliffe has also joined the cast in a cameo appearance as a political pundant anchoring a Fox-type news debate relating to the lovable but uninhibited CGI lead of the film.

“Working for Seth MacFarlane is exactly what you would expect it to be — fantastic.  He is of course professional, amazingly gifted and talented, but more than that, he leads by example in his energy, passion, work ethic, and true understanding of comedic timing and vision.  And did I mention he was just damn funny!” says Ratcliffe who is wrapping a new Sony show in Pittsburgh.

“I was surprised that there was no actual Teddy Bear.  For those of you who thought it was real, I am sorry, and yes, Santa Claus is real.  But I was such a fan of the first film, I just assumed there was an actual Ted, or maybe just a small child stuffed in a costume, but it wasn’t to be.  But with Seth’s conviction and a great script, we all believed.”

Ted 2 is set for theatrical release June 26th.
