Sydney, AUSTRALIA OCT 30, 2014 – It happens to everyone. The expectation of an important call on a smart phone missed because a TV or Radio was too loud or it was in another room or any number of other reasons the phone was not heard. Now an Australian tech startup has found a way to alert users of important incoming calls when a phone sound is out of range and they’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise capital funding to get the product to market.
Arco, as it is called, is a simple device that connects through a smart phone’s bluetooth connection, which is then paired with the phone and uses RGB LED lights to notify users of incoming calls and messages. Using the bluetooth low energy allows it to consume less energy than other devices. It’s that simple. It can alert to incoming calls, text messages, social media messages and more.
For those who may want more, an accompaniment iOS app will allow changes in default notification colors to a more custom feel for the user. Android users will require an app to use the ARCO, while iOS users will not.
Angel investors helping fund the ARCO Smart Phone Reactor Project campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, extremely cool T-shirts, a choice of Arco packages differentiated by amount and colors and distributorships.
The team also understands not everyone may be able to give money to help the ARCO Smart Phone Reactor Project, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about the ARCO Smart Phone Reactor Project online through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr or record a video challenge for Vine, Facebook or Instagram to invite friends to give to or share this Indiegogo fundraiser. Include #MeWorksArco in all posts.
