Educated at Volgograd State Medical University, Dr. Gyarteng-Dakwa completed his internship at Howard University and a fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. To stay current in his field, he maintains professional memberships in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Gyarteng-Dakwa attributes his success to hard work and dedication to his patients and their continued care. When not assisting patients, he enjoys reading the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Practical Pain Management Journal.
