Itoby Filmes, a Brazilian documentary production company has proudly announced that it is making a film based on the legendary Fittipaldi brothers, who founded the Fittipaldi Team. It was the first and only South American team to build a Formula 1 car and they raced 104 grand prixs and accumulated 44 points in the World Championship until it all ended in 1982. The company is currently raising funds and support for this film on Indiegogo.

“This film is in the process of being finalized and it is the story of Fittipaldi Team and its years of activity in Formula 1.” Said the spokesperson of this documentary, while introducing it to the Indiegogo community. “The story is told by the characters who were part of it including Wilson Fittipaldi Júnior, Emerson Fittipaldi and Ricardo Divila.” He added. The film also contains rare imaging including footage and photos from that era and it is going to be a treat for the F1 and racing fans worldwide.
