4eSync Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Market Biodegradable and Compostable Dinnerware

Sturdy, light, and microwave friendly, 4eSync has created plates, bowls, trays, and spoons that are stylish, biodegradable, and compostable. Made with plain dried leaves pressed with water and heat into desired shapes, 4eSync’s ultimate goal is to provide compostable option that will decrease the amount of waste that finds its way to landfills or the ocean. However, if you are unable to compost the waste yourself or through your community, it is readily biodegradable.

The facts are appalling.  Over 250 million tons of garbage are generated in the U.S. every year.  This total averages to around 5 pounds of garbage per person every day!  From this startling fact, the idea for a stylish and biodegradable line of tableware made from the completely natural leaves of the Arecanut tree was born.

Formed by a husband and wife team, 4eSync seeks to address in a small, but, meaningful way the large and growing amount of waste that we generate as a nation. 4eSync’s line of tableware product have no external additives or colors, giving them a natural look and feel.  The only components used in the production process are water and heat.  In addition, the entire line of 4eSync’s products are microwave safe.
