Los Angeles, CA – In the mid 1980’s a group of Polynesian-American siblings known as The Jets rocketed up the charts with their unique mix of pop, R&B, and dance. The multi-platinum, Grammy nominated recording artists had eight Billboard Top 10 hits including three #1’s.
13 Crowns is the next generation of talented musical siblings from the Wolfgramm family and they are ready to release of their debut single “Grateful” on November 13th on YouTube.
“Grateful” showcases the group’s ability to create strong melodies. The song is an upbeat pop soul anthem with an uplifting message that encourages those that are experiencing difficulties that they can overcome their challenges. In the end they will be grateful for what they have learned from the experience. The song was written for the group by Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd who has previously written songs for artists such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Chris Brown, and Big Boi.
The song was recorded at The Record Plant and produced by the Audibles (DJ Mecca and Jimmy G) along with “Poo Bear”. The Audibles impressive list of artists that they have produced for includes Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Drake, Ciara Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Lupe Fiasco, Keyshia Cole, The Weeknd, and Trey Songz.
13 Crowns are the seven oldest children of Haini and Sarah Wolfgramm. Haini was the bassist for The Jets, while Sarah was the singer-songwriter for RCA artists Blush. The group began playing together back in 2006 and were taught how to play, not only by their parents, but also their talented aunts and uncles. The band’s lineup features Tihane (16) and Abraham (15) on vocals, Eve (21) on the keys, Heinrich (20) and Maikeli (14) on guitar, Isabella (18) on bass, and Nora (12) on the drums. In many ways, the group is reminiscent of the early days of The Jackson 5.
With collaborators like The Jets, Poo Bear, and the Audibles, 13 Crowns is ready to assume their place among music industry royalty and continue their family’s musical legacy.
